Hospitality Associate and Line Cook

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the Dietary department. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for culinary arts and a desire to work in the food industry.Duties:- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices- Cook food items according to recipes and portion sizes- Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils- Assist with food preparation for catering events or special occasions- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen- Follow all dietary restrictions and special requests from customersSkills:- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food service industry- Knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredIf you are passionate about cooking and have experience in the food industry, we would love to hear from you.
