Daycare Cook

Daycare cook is responsible for preparing and serving attractive, nutritionally balance meals for the children/ during Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks. The position is responsible for maintaining high standards of food production and portions control using measuring spoons to meet the menu requirement set by Quality Care for children for all ages. The cook is also responsible for assisting with supervision of the children during selective meal that do not required the meals to be serve hot. The cook is also required to serve as a assistance teacher for breaks if needed.You must have a strong knowledge of healthy , complete meals and use budget skill to make food purchases for giving week. Placing orders & keeping up with inventory on a as need basic. Cycling food , can goods, milk and etc in the cabinet, Refrigerator & Freezer / & dating them. You are responsible of keep the food cabinet, refrigerator, plastic containers clean from old food droppings.Daycare Cook is required to complete a 90 hours class health & safety class , First Aid & CPR, 6 hours Nutritionally class that is approved by the State.This position also performs a variety of maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting , cleaning the trash can, maintaining refrigerators, freezer, stoves, storage rooms neat and clean order.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $9.50 per hourBenefits:* Employee discountSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
