Full job descriptionJupiter’s award-winning Blackbird Modern Asian currently has an opening for an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager. We are seeking a passionate and highly talented individual with leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire their teams daily. to maintain guest satisfaction while motivating and inspiring their team. The ideal manager candidate will have a “go above and beyond” attitude, thrive in a fast-paced, upscale dining setting, and possess the ability to create engaging and personalized dining experiences that increase customer loyalty.Responsibilities include the following:Working closely with the general manager to ensure guest satisfactionScheduling FOH staffLeading, coaching, and developing team membersOverseeing inventory (i.e., glassware, flatware, non-alcoholic beverages)Collaborating with executive chef to ensure timely food prep and impeccable presentationFostering guest relationships to encourage repeat visitsRequirements:Minimum 2 years experience in full-service, high-volume restaurant/food service managementWorking knowledge of computer software programs (Toast POS, MS Office, etc.)Excellent communications skillsAccuracy in handling emergency situations and providing solutionsFamiliar with industry’s best practicesProficient in EnglishCan lift up to 30 lbsPerks:Best-in-class medical, dental, and vision insuranceSensible work hours/work-life balanceAggressive vacation opportunities, paid time off, and much moreAt Blackbird Modern Asian, we are committed to delivering exceptional and memorable dining experiences.
