Kaprikorn is an Oregon family-owned and operated recreational licensed cannabis company with a nursery in Lowell, OR and indoor cannabis facility in Eugene, OR. This position may lead to full-time work with benefits.Please review the_*How to Apply *_ section!*Position: Part-Time Flex *We’re looking for team members to help us with busy production days primarily harvesting, bucking down plants, post harvest material processing and defanning. This position will be between 24-30 hours per week from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.The ideal candidate is quick, focused, friendly and adaptable._Other Responsibilities May Include:_* watering plants* physically moving heavy plants/bags of soil* pruning* up-potting* processing dried cannabis* transplanting plants* pesticide applications* cleaning* cutting and processing clones* deliveries* working in the greenhouse, clone facility or outdoor grow in Lowell*Personal Requirements:** Experience with plants is beneficial* Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail* 21 years old or older and eligible for an OLCC worker permit*Physical Job Requirements*_Standing, Sitting and Walking:_* Ability to stand and/or sit up to 8-10 hours per day.* Ability to walk or move around frequently, including down narrow aisles._Lifting and Carrying:_* Ability to lift and carry items weighing up 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.* Ability to lift heavy objects from floor to waist level and from waist level to shoulder level._Repetitive Movements:_* Physiological capability to perform sustained repetitive work for 8-10 hours a day on every workday.* This includes repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements, including gripping, grasping, and fine motor tasks, and also repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching motions._Manual Dexterity:_* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform precision tasks.* Ability to manipulate tools and equipment with precision._Postural Requirements:_* Ability to maintain various postures for extended periods, including sitting, standing, bending, squatting, and kneeling.* Ability to perform tasks while in awkward or static positions, such as reaching over._Strength and Endurance:_* Adequate physical strength to exert force repeatedly without fatigue or ergonomic injury.* Stamina to perform physical tasks continuously without experiencing undue fatigue._Coordination and Balance:_* Good balance, athleticism and coordination to perform tasks safely and efficiently.* Ability to safely climb and balance on 10-foot ladders._Sensory Abilities:_* Adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) to see details up close and at a distance.* Good hearing ability (with or without hearing aids) to detect and respond to sounds and alarms.*How to Apply:*Send your resume and *a thoughtful cover letter* through Indeed.
