CNC Mill Machining Specialist

*Job Summary*We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC Mill machines to produce high-quality components and parts. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials, including plastics, and will be instrumental in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards.*Key Responsibilities:** Set up and operate CNC Mills, including Haas controllers, to produce high-precision parts.* Program and edit G-code at the controller and use GibbsCAM software.* Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.* Select and install appropriate tools; perform tool offsets and adjustments.* Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.* Maintain a clean and safe work environment; adhere to all safety protocols.*Qualifications:** Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.* Proficiency in programming with GibbsCAM and at the controller (Haas experience preferred).* Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Own set of basic machinist tools required.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededAbility to Commute:* Altoona, PA 16602 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Altoona, PA 16602: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
