Purely Driven.Position SummaryRooted in a rich railroad heritage, Hager City is one of our two factories in Wisconsin—located across the Mississippi River from Red Wing, Minnesota and about 250 miles from our location in Jefferson. Over 50 dedicated associates come together to produce wet and dry coatings for our pet food brands nationwide, making this location truly special. We also work to do our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Join us in Hager City, where we work as one to create exceptional pet food coatings.As a Factory Manager, you play a crucial role as the representative of your location to internal associates, our broader company, and the local community while leading the factory in sustaining peak performance. Utilizing your strong problem-solving skills, you will identify and address operational challenges while collaborating effectively with cross-functional Purina teams through clear and efficient communication. Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring smooth operations within the factory will be integral to your responsibilities. Your expertise in project management, specifically within budget and timeline constraints, will be critical in achieving success.Establish a clear vision for the factory that aligns with Nestle Purina's overall objectives. Set clear, measurable objectives for the factory team, ensuring alignment with broader company goals. Regularly monitor progress and hold team accountable for their contribution to the factory's success.Ensure compliance with all company principles, policies, local laws, and regulations, including health, food safety, and regulatory requirements for all manufactured products.Analyze production data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize factory operations.Foster the growth and development of the factory management team and staff through effective performance management, career development initiatives, succession planning, and coaching.Effectively manage employee and industrial relations to ensure smooth operations. Build and maintain positive community relations. Build and sustain positive relationships with the local community, ensuring factory is viewed as a responsible and engaged corporate citizen.Ensure the full implementation of all aspects of Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE), including the structured and agreed-upon implementation of Total Performance Management (TPM) across all production lines. Actively drive focused improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.10+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment is required.4+ years of experience working with factory budgets is required.OtherExperience with Total Performance Management (TPM) or Lean Management Principles is preferred.Technical bachelor's degree is preferred.The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000 to $220,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
