Sanitation Worker - Lipman Portland

*Sanitation Employee*We are seeking an evening sanitation employee for an exceptional team-based work atmosphere with plenty of growth opportunity. Lipman is a privately owned family farming company. In fact, we are the largest grower of tomatoes in North America. We take pride in being a refreshingly dependable source of fruits and vegetables for our customers.The schedule for this position is 6:00pm to 2:30am Monday through Friday (Some weekends depending on company needs)*Sanitation Qualifications: *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.* Spanish/English - Bilingual strongly preferred* Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred* Basic mechanical skills* Ability to work a flexible schedule* Basic reading, writing and math skills* Exceptional work and safety record* Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. overhead* Must have the ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height and walk extensively throughout the warehouse* Preferred ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS)* Read and differentiate between products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code)*Sanitation Personnel Duties and Responsibilities: ** Follow all Lipman Food Safety (GMP, HACCP, & SOP) policies and procedures.* Complete tasks as required by Sanitation Supervisor.* Must maintain a safe work environment for themselves and the employees working around them.* Perform operational/sanitation duties in a wet/cold (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit) environment.* Required to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.*Equipment commonly used** Brushes* Hoses* Squeegees* Basic Hand Tools*Sanitation Employee Compensation: ** $18.25/hour* Overtime available* 2 weeks’ vacation after 1 year of employment* Oregon Sick Leave* Medical, Life, Dental, VisionJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.25 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Life insurance* Vision insuranceExperience:* Sanitation: 1 year (Required)Shift availability:* Overnight Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:* Portland, OR 97230 (Required)Work Location: In person
