APG/ Surface Mount Technology Operator

Horner Automation Group designs and manufactures Industrial Automation Controls and Custom Solutions for the global market. We are seeking to add a SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGY OPERATOR to our growing team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage, healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with employer match, a great working environment, and a talented team of experienced professionals with whom you will work.In a team environment, this position is responsible for setting up and operating surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to cost-effectively produce high-quality electronic products effectively and efficiently to meet customer requirements.*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:** Set up, operate, and monitor multiple pieces of surface mount equipment to produce high-quality products.* Perform general inspection and SPC monitoring of product, assembly equipment, and processes to ensure quality product assembly.* Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address basic process and equipment problems.* Efficiently perform repair procedures for the production floor, including soldering and de-soldering.*QUALIFICATIONS:** 2 year college is preferred* Knowledge of electronic components (IPC 610) related to electronics assembly, specifically *SMT*.
