Intelligence Watch Officer

*Job Title: Intelligence Watch Officer**1 year contract with strong potential for full time conversion**Location:* Onsite in Charlotte, NC*Shift:* 2nd Shift (2pm – 10pm, Monday - Friday)*Overview:* The Intelligence Watch Officer will monitor and manage intelligence feeds, document findings, and communicate with appropriate stakeholders. This role involves using various tools to monitor alarms, cameras, and other security systems, both vendor-provided and internal. The position is based in the ESCC and requires constant communication with security officers.*Key Responsibilities:** Monitor intelligence feeds and document findings.* Manage and distribute intelligence reports to relevant stakeholders.* Utilize tools for monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security systems.* Identify and communicate potential physical security threats, including electric, natural gas, and cyber threats.* Monitor domestic threats such as criminal activities, theft, and domestic terrorism.* Analyze social media posts and other sources for potential threats.* Support ESCC operators by escalating intelligence findings.* Participate in shift rotations and maintain awareness of shift-specific duties.*Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, criminal justice, or 4+ years of relevant experience* Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts to effectively communicate with cybersecurity teams.* Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to act quickly on alarming information.* Experience in military intelligence, law enforcement dispatch, or related fields is preferredJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:* Charlotte, NC 28202 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Charlotte, NC 28202: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
