We strive to create a collaborative and creative environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning, and culture.We look forward to sharing more about the organization and helping you determine if a career with the Partnership is the right fit for you.*To thrive, you should have: ** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Associate’s degree with 3+ years of HR experience and/or PHR/SHRM certification considered.* Three to five years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines, including full-cycle recruitment and employee relations.* Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, HR policies, payroll processes, and HR best practices.* Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity experience a plus), along with Microsoft Office and data reporting tools.* Ability to occasionally travel to meetings or events and support after-hours or offsite employee engagement activities as needed.*Responsibilities for the People & Culture (HR) Generalist include: ** Lead Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle hiring process, partner with hiring managers on strategies, and ensure inclusive practices.* Support HR Operations & Compliance: Administer HRIS, payroll, benefits, and leave programs while maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and assisting with investigations or employee relations.* Drive Talent & Performance Management: Assist with goal-setting, performance reviews, and development initiatives to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.* Enhance Employee Experience & Engagement: Contribute to staff engagement, belonging, and recognition programs, including surveys, culture initiatives, and action planning.* Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Guide employees and leaders on HR policies and practices, reinforcing organizational values and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.*Why the Partnership*When you join the Greater Houston Partnership, you get the opportunity to work with an organization that helps guide the future of the Houston region.
