Residential Manager

A nonprofit organization in Queens is currently seeking a new Residential Manager to join their growing team. In this role, the Residential Manager will be responsible for performing managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Sunday - ThursdayHours: Shifts vary day-to-day, must be flexible to work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.Patient Population: Developmentally Disabled Population, AdultsResponsibilities:Perform managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the IRA is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate careCoordinate the activities of the shift and determine priorities as directed or required to ensure consumer safetyAssist in supervising the functions and activities of the Direct Support ProfessionalsHelp plan community inclusion activitiesEnsure meals are planned for following shift and ingredients are set outFunction independently in times of facility coverage including responsibility for appropriate action in crisis situations and medical emergencies per agency procedurePrepare documentation and written reports per agency requirementsPerform other duties, as neededEducation + Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (will consider someone without a Bachelor's Degree if they have extensive experience in field)Must have OPWDD experienceFamiliar with the required certification in AMAP and SCIP, CPR and First AidComputer savvy
