Lead Irrigation Technician

Position: Irrigation Technician (Year-Round Opportunity)Location: Fort Collins BranchCompany: All Terrain Property Services (ATPS)*About the Role:*ATPS is looking for multiple experienced Irrigation Technicians to join our team. This is a year-round, full-time opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with advanced irrigation technologies, including ET (evapotranspiration) programming, 2-wire systems, low-voltage lighting, and pump/pond systems.You’ll work independently, take ownership of your work, and help lead and mentor junior technicians. We are looking for a true professional who takes pride in their craft and appearance and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team.*Key Responsibilities:** Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of commercial irrigation systems.* Program and manage irrigation clocks using ET-based algorithms.* Diagnose and repair 2-wire systems, pump systems, and water features.* Inspect, maintain, and replace valves, controllers, and related components.* Operate and maintain low-voltage lighting systems.* Train and mentor Irrigation Tech I and Apprentices.* Maintain accurate work records via Hindsite or similar platforms.* Organize and maintain truck inventory and equipment.* Support snow operations during the winter season.*What We’re Looking For:** 2–4 years of proven professional experience in the irrigation industry.* Strong understanding of irrigation hydraulics and flow dynamics.* Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and system layouts.* Competence in using smartphones, irrigation software, and remote monitoring tools.* Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.* Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.* Valid Colorado Driver’s License required.* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.* Professional appearance and demeanor are a must.*Preferred Certifications (or willingness to obtain within 12 months):*Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT)Backflow Tester (APBA)Certified Irrigation Auditor (CIA)*What We Offer:** Year-round employment* Competitive pay based on experience* Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance* 401(k) retirement plan* Company vehicle provided for qualified candidates* Opportunities for advancement and continued educationIf you're an experienced irrigation professional who values quality work, year-round stability, and being part of a respected team, we want to hear from you.*Apply today and grow your career with ATPS.*Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) 5% Match* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Opportunities for advancement* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Overtime* Year round workSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payAbility to Commute:* Fort Collins, CO 80525 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Fort Collins, CO 80525: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
