A healthcare tech company in Pittsburgh, PA is currently seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join their team. In this role, the HR Generalist will be responsible for managing and supporting various aspects of human resources, including addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and providing guidance on company policies.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: 6+ monthsSetting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)Responsibilities:Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and professional mannerAdvise employees and leadership on company policies, procedures, and best practices to promote positive working relationships and resolve issues before they escalateDocument findings, present recommendations, and collaborate with management to implement appropriate resolutions or corrective actionsAdvise on the interpretation of company policies, employment laws, and regulationsMediate conflicts between employees, or between employees and management, facilitating resolutions that are fair, consistent, and aligned with company values and cultureCollaborate with the Talent Acquisition team as needed during the hiring process or post-hirePartner with the Benefits team to manage employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other job-protected leave programsSupport during the performance management review and merit cycle and coordinate with the compensation team as needed on special projectsMaintain accurate records of investigations, employee concerns, and resolutions, per company policies and legal requirementsPrepare reports and provide regular updates to leaders on trends and patterns related to turnover and employee issuesAssist in the delivery of HR training as neededQualifications:3+ years of experience in Human ResourcesBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or a related fieldStrong focus on Employee Relations, Investigations, and Leave ManagementStrong knowledge of Employment Laws and Regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.)Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflictsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain impartial in challenging situations
