Panel Operator

Join our Panel Shop team and help bring precision to every project. The Panel Operator sets up and operates routers and cutting equipment to produce panels that meet customer specifications and 80/20’s high-quality standards.*What You’ll Do:** Set up, operate, and shut down routers and cutting machines for each order* Select and prepare materials per order requirements* Inspect finished panels for quality and accuracy* Read and interpret blueprints to meet customer specs* Transport completed panels to the next department or shipping* Communicate daily with leadership to support production goals* Learn all areas of the Panel Shop to support team flexibility*What You’ll Bring:** High School Diploma or GED* Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)* Strong math and conversion skills (fractions to decimals)* Excellent attention to detail and quality* Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift* Willingness to obtain a forklift license* Positive attitude that reflects 80/20’s values*Preferred:** 1+ years of experience cutting metal or plastic panelsJob Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
