Contract Specialist

A recognized educational organization in Illinois is actively seeking a new Contracts Specialist to join its growing team. In this role, the Contract Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and processing hotel contracts, including rate agreements, service agreements, and preferred supplier agreements.***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least one day a week (Wednesdays are mandatory).***Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate hotel contracts, including rate agreements, service agreements, and preferred supplier agreementsEnsure compliance with company requirements and maintain accurate contract records in the contract management system (Malbek)Act as a liaison with the travel team to address contract-related issues and ensure smooth operationsAssist in resolving contract disputes or performance issuesSupport the Procurement team with contract-related tasks as neededQualifications:3+ years of Contract Management experienceBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Hospitality, Finance, or a related fieldFamiliarity with Contract Management SystemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsDesired Skills:Knowledge of Hospitality industry regulations and Contract practicesWorking knowledge of Malbek
