This position plays a vital role in ensuring that advanced animal health devices are built with precision and reliability.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes and documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesWork from wiring, electrical, and mechanical diagrams, as well as work instructions, to organize, build, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices used on the Inovoject® system.Assist in preparing and updating detailed build documentation and maintain organized records.Support parts rebuild and prototype assembly activities as needed.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve design documentation, assembly techniques, and workflow efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized workspace; recommend process improvements to reduce build time and cost.Work closely with Quality Control to ensure product reliability and compliance.Assist manufacturing and logistics teams in preparing devices for shipment.Technician II Additional Responsibilities:Lead documentation of equipment changes and process improvement initiatives.Cross-train across multiple device systems.Perform advanced troubleshooting and assembly support for prototype systems.Required ExperienceTechnician I:High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of relevant experience.An associate degree in Engineering Technology is preferred.Technician II:High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years of relevant experience.An associate degree in Engineering Technology is preferred.Required SkillsMechanical and Electrical AssemblyElectro-Mechanical TroubleshootingPneumatic SystemsPreferred SkillsDocumentation & Process ControlPrototype AssemblyContinuous Improvement InitiativesAdditional SkillsQuality Assurance CollaborationShop Floor Organization & MaintenanceCross-Functional CommunicationBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientA global leader in animal health, dedicated to improving the well-being of animals worldwide for over 70 years.
