This role involves hands-on assembly, in-process testing, documentation, and support of reconditioned and new instruments. The ideal candidate will be experienced with both mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as inspection and testing tools. Compliance with QSR, ISO, and EH&S policies is a core requirement.Key Responsibilities:Assemble sub-assemblies and full system-level hardware per specificationsPerform in-process testing and inspection of assembliesComplete Device History Record (DHR) documentationSupport the assembly and testing of reconditioned hardwarePackage final products in compliance with Instrument Manufacturing protocolsMaintain adherence to QSR, ISO, and EH&S policies and practicesUse hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering ironsPerform mechanical inspections using tools like calipers and indicatorsConduct basic electrical testing with multimetersParticipate in internal audits and risk reduction initiativesTrain team members as neededPerform other assigned duties within manufacturing operationsRequired Experience:Hands-on experience with electromechanical assemblyFamiliarity with hand tools, test equipment, and manufacturing documentationExperience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical device manufacturing)Nice-to-Have Experience:Packaging and labeling in an FDA-compliant settingReconditioning and servicing instrumentationRequired Skills:Mechanical and electrical assemblyTool handling and precision assemblyInspection and documentation skillsPreferred Skills:Familiarity with QSR, ISO, and EH&S standardsExperience training or mentoring othersParticipation in audits or compliance checksAdditional Skills:Test procedures and mechanical drawing interpretationMultimeter and caliper useRisk mitigation awarenessCollaboration across manufacturing functionsBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Client:Innovative medical technology company empowering healthier lives.
