This role provides accurate, confidential, and timely HR support by interpreting company policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines such as FMLA and ERISA.Ideal for candidates with prior HR experience or those looking to transition into an HR-focused role, this position offers valuable exposure to HR compliance, case management systems, and leave administration.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to HR inquiries related to policies, procedures, and leave of absence programs through various channels (phone, email, dashboard reports).Provide accurate information in compliance with FMLA, state disability, family leave, and ERISA regulations.Process and document case details using the ServiceNow case management system.Utilize internal resources to research and resolve employee questions efficiently.Perform timely administration of leave requests using dashboard reports to monitor workload.Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy in handling sensitive employee information.Build foundational knowledge of HR operations through daily administrative processing and policy application.Required ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.1–2 years of related HR or customer service experience preferred.Prior exposure to leave of absence, disability, or unemployment processing highly desirable.Required SkillsExcellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to multi-task and remain composed in fast-paced environments.Strong attention to detail and follow-through.Preferred SkillsExperience working in HR Shared Services or similar environments.Familiarity with case management tools (ServiceNow or similar).Understanding of state and federal HR laws governing employee leaves and benefits.Additional SkillsProven ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong knowledge retention and resource utilization.Confidential handling of employee data.Flexible mindset with high adaptability under pressure.ScheduleDays: Monday – FridayHours: Standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401(k) Retirement FundAbout the ClientA Fortune 500 off-price apparel and home retailer and the leading value-driven fashion retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.
