Monarch Market, a newly developed Food Hall, consisting of 12 food vendors, a full service restaurant, and three distinct beverage outlets seeks Bartenders.At the Monarch Market, the bartenders will be responsible for providing an excellent guest experience at all three of our beverage outlets. From a casual bar that serves the needs of the general food hall guest to a high end cocktail experience, we seek to fill the needs of all types of guests in a thoughtful and memorable manner.The bartenders at Monarch Market carry the knowledge and expertise of a premium cocktail program and continue to grow while helping to define and strengthen the service culture of the food hall. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable about the food and answer guest questions about the menu and ingredients. We want to tell the story behind our food and various concepts.Our bartenders maintain the flow of the guest experience at Monarch Market. They seek out the guest, gently guide them through the menu, and tailor their drink choices to be the best possible experience. The bartenders work with the entire team to meet the needs of each guest and enhance their visit.Primary responsibilities:* Proactively offering to take drink orders or reorder rounds of drinks for guests, simultaneously maintaining a level of distance so guests do not feel pressure and a close proximity to guests who are looking for service* Coordinating with bar team to execute guest orders correctly and in a timely fashion* Running beverages to tables and clearing both empty glassware and plates if necessary* Awareness of each guest in order to tailor your service and presence to meet the needs of the guests(s) and to alleviate the strain that a line of people at the bar can bring to bartenders* Constant communication with all members of the teamIf you feel you meet the below requirements, and are excited to be a part of a very unique concept, please respond with a copy of your resume.* Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge and the passion to learn and master new recipes/flavors and being able to get the guest excited about it.* Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.* Anticipating guests needs and ensuring they have a memorable experience* Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and food hall before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.* Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends.* Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or moreJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible schedule* Paid trainingAbility to Relocate:* Charlotte, NC 28246: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
