C & S Press, INC (OtownPrinter.com) is an industry-leading, family-owned, commercial printing company that has been serving Central Florida for over 35 years.We are currently seeking a Bindery Assistant who enjoys working hands-on to join the team at our facility located in the Downtown Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have a background of leading and performing a wide variety of fulfillment -drop ship projects to ensure timely and optimum results. This is a first shift position with occasional weekends that may be required.*Responsibilities:** Line set up for drop ships* Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and manager* Assist Machine operators* Inspect shipments to confirm correct product is being shipped and is properly packaged in accordance with customer requirements.* Shrink-wrapping, packaging, bagging, sealing in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.* Assemble and fill boxes, dividers, containers, trays, bags, cartons, special packaging with items that need to be preserved and shipped or inventoried.* Preparing, printing and applying labeling corresponding to part and shipping requirements.* Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.* Safety conscious and support company’s safety program.*Requirements:** Minimum 3 years experience.* Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment unsupervised.* Solid verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors.* Capable of accurately reading and reviewing all documents.* Organizational skills a must.* Ability to frequently lift/handle Heavy Materials* Must be a team player.* Drug Free Company - Must submit to Drug testing to be approved*Benefits:*401KVacation - Paid vacationsSick time - PaidHolidays - PaidMedical: Employer shares the cost of the premiumDental: Employer shares the cost of the premiumLife Insurance: Premium paid by the EmployerVision: Employee fundedJob Type: Part Time - Full-timeJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceShift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Orlando, FL 32806 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Orlando, FL 32806: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
