CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

*GENERAL SUMMARY*The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the CNC machines, as well as other machine operation duties.*PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** Safely load and unload parts in and out of the CNC machine* Timely run the CNC machine cycle, to meet production established goals* Continuously monitor the CNC machine settings & equipment to ensure production goals are achieved* Conduct periodic quality checks to confirm parts meet correct specifications* Make adjustments to machines, as needed* Keep work station clean and organized* Practice and perform LEAN Manufacturing concepts* Perform other duties as requested from management*Required Skills & Abilities ** Must be able to speak & read in English* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment* Detail oriented* Working knowledge of tooling & general machining practices* Reading & interpreting manufacturing drawings*Physical Requirements** Must be able to lift and move up to 25lbs independently, on a regular basis* Must be able stand for extended periods of time*Education/ Experience** High School diploma/GED* 2+ Years CNC Machine Operation experience* Measuring tools experience; calipers, micrometers*Other: ** Hourly (non-exempt) position- eligible for overtime pay, after working 40 hours* Position works Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pmJob Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* CNC Machinist: 2 years (Required)Shift availability:* Night Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:* Rochester, NY 14624 (Required)Work Location: In person
