Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs in an educational setting- Assist students in following classroom routines and instructions- Support students in completing academic tasks and assignments- Help students develop social skills and promote positive behavior- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff- Monitor and document student progress and behavior- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student's progress and any concernsSkills:- Experience working with individuals with special needs, preferably in an educational setting- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support diverse learners- Ability to adapt and modify instruction based on individual student needs- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students who may have challenging behaviors or communication difficulties- Organizational skills to keep track of student progress and documentationNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
