Associate Project ManagerAlternate/Related Job Titles:Project CoordinatorJunior Project ManagerProgram Support SpecialistLocation: Oakland, CAOnsite Flexibility: Hybrid (Team meets once per month at OGO; otherwise remote)Contract Details:Position Type: ContractContract Duration: 3 months (Through Q1 2026; possible extension based on program needs)Start: As Soon As PossiblePay Rate: $45–47/hrNotes: Local candidates onlyJob Summary:The Associate Project Manager supports the Clean Energy Transportation (CET) division in delivering the Multifamily and Small Business EV Charger Program (MSDI). This role is a desk-based hybrid position, responsible for coordinating EV charger testing activities, tracking technical fixes, and administering funding programs that support clean energy adoption. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional communication capabilities, and prior experience supporting projects, grants, or utility programs.A client laptop will be provided; however, in case of delays, candidate may need to temporarily use a supplier-provided or personal device with Citrix installed.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and conduct EV charging equipment testing with property site hosts.Track testing progress, outcomes, and follow-up actions; provide regular updates to the MSDI Program Manager.Support the facilitation of hardware and software fixes for EV charging equipment.Oversee implementation and monitoring of EV charging grant programs to ensure regulatory compliance.Manage external funding applications: track approvals, milestones, deliverables, and identify/resolve issues.Prepare progress reports and support overall program documentation and administration.Perform all work remotely aside from one monthly onsite team meeting.Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and ensure timely task execution.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of project coordinator or similar project support experience.2–4 years of experience managing grant applications or funding programs.BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with construction or infrastructure projects.Experience working with an investor-owned utility (highly preferred).Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Ability to explain and communicate complex processes clearly.Experience supporting clean energy, EV charging, or energy-related programs.Required Skills:Project coordination and trackingCommunication and stakeholder managementOrganization and documentation skillsPreferred Skills:Grant funding administrationProcess communication and reportingFamiliarity with utility or construction workflowsAdditional Skills:Ability to work independentlyAbility to manage evolving program needsComfortable in fast-paced desk-based work environmentsSchedule:Monday–Friday8:00 AM – 4:30 PMBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Client:A leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the U.S. The organization is committed to reliable energy delivery, community impact, and fostering a positive work environment that supports clean energy initiatives such as EV infrastructure.About GTT:GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
