This role requires strong technical accuracy, the ability to work safely under pressure, and flexibility to frequently rework non-conforming outsourced materials to meet production deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders, balancing equipment, and spin test machines.Perform highly sensitive machining work with precision.Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples for accurate production.Take precise measurements for cutting, shaping, or reworking materials.Select appropriate machines, tooling, and settings for each task.Adapt tasks and priorities based on production requirements.Support on-time delivery by alleviating bottlenecks involving sensitive parts.Inspect output for quality assurance, documenting or discarding defects.Identify and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.Rework defective or unfinished materials supplied by other sources.Contribute to team efforts and assist with related duties as needed.Required Experience:5+ years of manufacturing or assembly machining experienceDeep knowledge of machining operations and manufacturing proceduresUnderstanding of ANSI Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasksExperience working independently in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principlesAbility to collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and HSE teamsNice-to-Have Experience:Forklift operationLean/continuous improvement project experienceAdvanced machining certificationsRequired Skills:Precision machining expertiseMechanical aptitude and coordinationIndependent work capabilityPreferred Skills:Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Production troubleshootingMaintenance of machining equipmentAdditional Skills:Basic computer skillsAbility to lift 20–40 lbsSafe workstation maintenanceQuality checks and documentationAbility to adapt to frequent task changesTeam collaboration and communicationPPE Requirements:Yes — required PPE includes standard manufacturing safety equipmentWork may involve heights up to 10 feetForklift driving may be requiredWorking Conditions:Outdoor environmentFrequent lifting of 20–40 lbsBenefits:• Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans• 401k Retirement FundAbout the Company:A global leader in gases, technologies, and services for industry and healthcare.
