The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CNC programming and a strong understanding of machining processes. Operating and program of CNC Mill & Lathes machines, with a strong expertise in Mastercam. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, aerospace environment.*What We Offer** Competitive pay based on experience up to $45.00 per hour* Overtime opportunities* Health, dental, and vision benefits* 401(k) with a company match* Paid time off + 12 paid holidays*Key Responsibilities** Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe operations.* Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation* Develop and optimize programs using Mastercam creating programs using 2D prints, solid models, and designing tooling/fixing if needed* Program, set-up, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes.* Conduct setup of CNC machines, including tooling adjustments based on job specifications.* Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure optimal part production.* Troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions to improve operational efficiency.* Mentor and train junior machinists and contribute to process improvements.* Other duties assigned by department manager.*What We’re Looking For** 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including programming from scratch* Expertise in Mastercam, able to program Lathes and 4-axis Mills* Ability to inspect your own work using precision measurement tools* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and craftsmanship* Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong background in manufacturing and machining environments.* In-depth knowledge of mechanical principles, geometry, tooling, and blueprint reading is essential.* Experience with precision measuring instruments is required to ensure quality control throughout production runs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 48 – 55 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Camarillo, CA 93012 (Required)Work Location: In person
