Experienced CNC Machinist - Lathe

*About us*Large local CNC machine/job shop serving industry since 1920! Family owned and operated for 105 years!Heavy and frequent machine set ups, understanding of programming, experienced running various CNC and manual mills and/or lathes. Free state machining of large weldments desired. Previous experience with Fanuc controls also a plus. Current CNC machines in shop include Kuraki, Hurco, Okuma-Howa, Yama-Seiki, Dainichi, G&L and Toyoda.*Requirements:** Ability to make frequent machine set-ups.* 5+ years of general machining.* Mix of manual and CNC machining preferred.* Read & follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications.* Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics including trigonometry.* Experience with tool selection and able to adjust feed and speed.* Understanding of free state machining.* Possess required tools and PPE.* Able to safely work overhead cranes and material handling equipment.* May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.* Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.* Ability to work effectively with others and be a team player.*Pay* *Range* *: *Depends on experience*Benefits:** Medical for employee after probationary period (currently 90 days)* Life Insurance* Dental, Vision and other coverages available* Vacation* 401k with generous match* Profit sharing* Holiday pay* One location - Monday through Friday - Day shiftJob Type: Full-timePay: From $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Profit sharing* Retirement planApplication Question(s):* Do you have CNC machining experience?* Do you have your own tools, micrometers, edge finders, gauges, etc.?Work Location: In person
