Multi-Axis Technologies is seeking a highly skilled CNC mill and lathe machinist/ programmer to machine challenging prototypes and low volume production runs. This position requires an open mind, willing to take on challenges, prove out new processes and be your best on a daily basis. Be a part of our integral growing team and apply today!*Qualifications** 5+ years of experience in machining and fabrication; preferably in an R&D environment* Experience with setting up and operating Multi-Axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 axis mills and 4 axis lathes. Experience with Heidenhain control is a plus.* Competent in recent versions of CAM software systems such as Mastercam* Good understanding of G code and hand-editing code at the machine* Use of calipers, micrometers, height gages and standard measuring equipment* Engineering drawing interpretation and inspection using GD&T per ASME Y14.5* Able to plan projects, select proper cutters for materials and setup hardware for processing* Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and providing DFM feedback to customers* Experience machining a wide variety of aerospace alloys including nickel-based super-alloys* Fluent in use of precision inspection equipment* To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State*Responsibilities** Set up and operate Multi-Axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 axis mills and 4 axis lathes* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, models, and descriptions* Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materialsJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
