We have exclusive coverage contracts at two outstanding Centura hospitals (Penrose-St Francis) and four busy outpatient surgery centers. We are fortunate to be expanding rapidly and are looking to add to our team. We have a good mix of cases with significant orthopaedic volume and a dedicated cardiac team. Trauma is limited (level 2&3 hospitals). Up to 12 weeks of vacation and minimal in house call (1-2 per month). Full benefits and retirement plans available. We are a 51-physician provider, 23-year old practice that provides preeminent inpatient and outpatient anesthesia care to the Colorado Springs community. Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Colorado, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing.2. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.3. State of Colorado Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Certification.4. Complies with one of the following requirements:a. Meets criteria 1 and 2 above, and is awaiting initial certification (some states limit this period of time); orb. Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor; orc. Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.5. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution.6. Demonstrates current competency in those clinical responsibilities for which the candidate applies.7. Exhibits a positive attitude and demonstrates an abilty to work in a care team model.This is a salaried position offers the ability to earn compensation in addition to the salary.
