Our Service Technicians are responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of adaptive equipment, driving aids, restraint systems, wheelchair lifts and other mobility equipment associated with an adapted van, car, truck, or bus. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and performing work specified on the repair/work order with efficiency and in accordance with Company and National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) standards. Inspecting and testing new vehicles for damage and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Diagnose, adjust and repair automotive mobility equipment and electrical systems. Communicate with customers and coworkers in order to determine the assigned service. Inspect other work performed by other technicians as it relates to quality and NMEDA Guidelines. Perform installations and performing work specified on the repair/work order with efficiency and in accordance with Company and NMEDA standards. Prepare and keep records related to repair, installation and maintenance work.
