This global organization has manufacturing facilities worldwide, along with a highly creative engineering team to help design and create custom products for highly unique applications. The global company is over $2 billion in revenue and the automotive division is experiencing rapid growth. Their programs can be found in the new Cadillac Escalade and Grand Wagoneer and many others, as they are working with every major OEM.The Sr. Program Manager - GM will oversee awarded business and programs for General Motors managing the full lifecycle cradle to grave. The Sr. Program Manager - GM (General Motors) be tasked with program management, project management, quoting, engineering changes, design, development, validation, launches, timelines, and any related commercial issues etc. The Sr. Program Manager will work closely the Platform Manager and Account Managers, and customers. This is a highly visible and important role as this person will be the face of the organization to OEMs customers. This Sr. Program Manager will managing all current GM programs and future programs. DescriptionTake over awarded programs in order to meeting engineering needs, timing, launches, design, development, validation etc.The program manager is responsible to interface with all areas affected by the project, ensuring successful integration of all project work products.Support design and validation activitiesProvide engineering support to internal and external tooling design - mold tool design, fixture design, tooling personal etc.Create and maintain DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering Open Issues.Work closely with program management and engineering on product launches to ensure completion of PPAP related issuesSupport manufacturing engineering in preproduction builds, customer engineering and customer quality, along with production supportAnalyze product problems and develop solutions utilizing dimensional data & applying engineering / mathematical principles.Assist in quoting new business as assigned.ProfileBachelor''s Degree in Engineering, or relatedMinimum of 8 years of experience in engineering and program managementExperience in automotive working at a Tier 1 automotive supplierMust have experience with interior components/assemblies - interior, decorative, consoles, air registers, painted parts, cupholders, wiring or related.Must have experience working at a Tier supplier managing GM customer programsExperience managing full program lifecycles from business award to launchExperience or Capabilities in CAD systemsExperience with DFMEA, ADVP&R, PFMEA and Control Plans.Strong communication skills verbal and writtenStrong time management skills and ability to multi-taskTeam player and positive attitudeJob OfferCompetitive base salary $115,000 - $140,000, full benefits starting day one of employment, 401K and match fully vested day one, gym membership, vacation, holidays.
