POSITION SUMMARY Psychiatric Care Unit (PCU) is located on the first floor of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) in the Emergency Department (ED). This is a four-room unit under the umbrella of Emergency Services (ES). When the PCU is full, patients overflow into psychiatrically-safe rooms in the ED. This unit is open 7 days a week, 24 hours per day. Asante''s vision is to significantly improve the patient experience for people facing a mental health crisis. That vision included adopting a trauma-informed approach to mental health care called The Sanctuary Model, as well as creating a resiliency support program called Team CARE Response for employees. We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Care RN''s that have the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment along with excellent communication and ability to work with multiple community agencies in a respectful and efficient manner.
