Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Currently recruiting for the role of Sr. Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our client. You are a technical leader in highly automated high volume assembly who drives improvements to the operational KPI''s (Cycle Time, Scrap, Customer Concerns, OEE). You will provide technical information, documentation, support, and guidance as well as lead and participate in cross-functional teams to help resolve issues relating to assembly. YOU WILL Identify Improvement Projects in Assembly Strive for operational excellence through line balance, and station efficiencies Lead capital project planning and execution in assembly. Evaluate and confirm product design changes for assembly Lead and support the execution of changepoint management processes Drive end execute with engineering rigor and discipline Coach junior engineers in the cross functional teams Direct, evaluate, and confirm product design and changes Create and update required process documentation. Create specifications, recommendations and designs for tools, fixtures, gages, equipment, and processes. Test tools, fixtures, gages, equipment, and processes. Specify gaging techniques. Keep abreast of latest technical developments in automated assembly. Lead creation and updates to process flow and PFMEA Support other teams as required. YOU HAVE Four-year Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME) Experience with Torque, Press, and Gaging equipment. Solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performance Proven mechanical aptitude for analytical problem solving Good interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent Mechanical skills Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint; CAD with the ability to learn and use new CAD programs. AutoCad and Pro-Engineer experience.
