We are looking for Distribution Specialists for our receiving team on 2nd shift (3:00pm-1:30am), Mon-Th. Contributors also receive generous PTO within their first year and beyond.The Distribution Specialistperforms a multitude of functions for the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders for timely delivery. Use of motorized industrial equipment to load and unload trucks; to transport and locate materials; pick and put-away product; replenish picking locations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Operate motorized industrial equipment such as sit-down fork truck, stock picker, reach truck, turret truck.Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operating equipmentOperate within standard operating proceduresUse of hand-held or truck mounted radio frequency (RF) scannersAdhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelinesMaintain accurate logs or other required documentation depending on the job task being performedFollow work order instructions to perform assignments throughout the facilityFollow documented procedures with accuracyWork in other departments and/or perform miscellaneous tasks as neededRotate position / jobs as requiredParticipate in department meetings and projectsReplenish picking locationsStock product into bins and carton flow racking.Use of carts, manual and electric pallet jacks during picking, replenishment and stockingIdentify and document location discrepanciesFollow procedures to ensure inventory is accurate and efficiencies are metParticipate in department meetings and projectsMaintain neat, clean and well-organized work areaTimely and regular attendanceIND123Dorman Products, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer; we value a combination of ideas, perspectives and cultures.
