The Lead Business Analyst role partners closely with the Product Owner (PO) and is key to authoring business use cases and user stories, elaborating details (e.g. acceptance criteria) in backlog items. Acts as liaison between technology and business stakeholders because they have a deep understanding of the security capability and the user needs. With strong technical writing skills, this position will support creating presentations for narrating the squad''s story on delivering value for DTCC. What you''ll do: Translate user and business needs into product backlog items (shared responsibility with PO) to achieve Definition of Ready Collaborate with PO and squad on backlog item refinement to foster a shared understanding of what capability per the roadmap is being delivered. Partner with PO and stakeholders to incorporate review feedback into the backlog, and may act as proxy PO when delegated Technical writer for presentations, blog posts, operating procedures, and partner with PO to narrate the squad''s delivery value Lead workflow design and contributes to user experience design or security process design, where applicable **NOTE: Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. ** Your talents needed for success Minimum 5+ years of related experience Bachelor''s degree preferred or equivalent experience Security related certifications are a plus Prior experience as a Business Analyst in Agile methodologies Proficiency with SQL language strongly preferred Prior experience in requirements gathering, analysis and process mapping Ability to embrace a collaborative approach to requirements development and refinement Strong analytical and technical writing skills About DTCC DTCC safeguards the financial markets and helps them run efficiently, in times of prosperity and crisis.
