The ideal candidate will be a generalist, fast learner and go-getter, able to apply analytical mind-set to study business processes, recommend efficiency improvements and drive every aspect of the recommended solution from requirements gathering, project management, data analysis, data sourcing, testing, documentation and training of end users along with presentation to business team leads. The candidate will be flexible and be able to adapt to fast changing environments including executing Accounting operations as needed. Requirements Accounting/Finance Consultant Reporting to the Manager, Accounting & Finance (A&F), the Accounting Consultant - FAST (Finance & Accounting Support and Transformation) works with multiple departments, to support transformation of Accounting and Finance operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a generalist, fast learner and go-getter, able to apply analytical mind-set to study business processes, recommend efficiency improvements and drive every aspect of the recommended solution from requirements gathering, project management, data analysis, data sourcing, testing, documentation and training of end users along with presentation to business team leads. The candidate will be flexible and be able to adapt to fast changing environments including executing Accounting operations as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop Understanding Understand core responsibilities of designated business areas within Accounting and Finance quickly become well-versed with their current processes , systems , data sources and controls Process Evaluation Analyze existing processes Identify opportunities for process transformation around increased efficiencies and risk mitigation Design solutions that fit the company''s long-term strategic objectives, planning short-term interim solutions, as needed Communication Communicate recommendations/proposals to business leads and senior management Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
