Tax Analyst

Adecco is hiring immediately for Tax Analysts at a local client in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will have full ownership of all income tax accounting across the organization''s foreign and domestic locations. Responsibilities: Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual world-wide effective tax rate calculations as well as variances against forecast and budget Identify, account and report on discrete period income tax items Analyze, account, and evaluate deferred tax positions and maintain deferred tax balances and the associated deferred tax roll-forward process Prepare journal entries to appropriately reflect income tax expense, FIN 48 positions, deferred tax positions, and other related income tax matters in the company''s consolidated financial accounting records Counsel and support leadership on related topics using the precepts in ASC 740 Drive accurate accounting and documentation of return to provision adjustments Strive for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls over the process Requirements: Bachelor''s degree accounting, finance, or related field of study required Master''s degree in taxation is preferred Minimum 7+ years of accounting for income taxes and ASC 740 income tax provision experience Experience working in a large multi-national publicly held company is an asset Previous senior accounting experience in a senior tax provision role with a big four public accounting firm is highly desired Professional experience with OnceSource tax provision or other equivalent tax provision software required Previous experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, and accounting consolidation tools such as HFM is strongly beneficial CPA is strongly preferred What''s in this for you?
