We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers'' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Welder - located in South Houston, close to Hobby AirportResponsibilities of the Welder include, but are not limited to:Flux core , Mig, tig, sub -arc Pipe, steel, and stainless steel welding , various metals Pipe fitting, structural fitting GTAW , FCAW, GMAW, Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the jobPlans details of working procedure, tools and material requirementsFabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metalsRepairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipmentCleans and prepares surfaces to be weldedSets up, assembles, and tacks weld partsBuilds up worn or defective surfacesUses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shapeKeeps equipment and work area clean and orderlyStructural fitting, channel/ square tubing, coping beamsDXPQualifications of the Welder include, but are not limited to:5 years of welding experience. Must have GTAW , FCAW, GMAW. Will be tested on all 3.Familiar with iron worker, plasma cutter, and grinders , torch , gauging welds Ability to read and understand blueprintsPhysical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.Working Conditions: Shop EnvironmentTraining/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Day shift from 6am to 2:30pm with some overtime Monday - Friday and some Saturdays 6am to 12 noon. Must be willing and able to work night shift if needed no exceptions.
