We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers'' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Responsibilities of the Welder include, but are not limited to:MiG, tig, and stick weldingPipe, steel, and stainless-steel weldingPipe fittingReceives instructions, prints, and work orders for the jobPlans details of working procedure, tools and material requirementsFabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metalsRepairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipmentCleans and prepares surfaces to be weldedSets up, assembles, and tacks weld partsBuilds up worn or defective surfacesUses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shapeKeeps equipment and work area clean and orderlyQualifications of the Welder include, but are not limited to: 5 years of welding experience (preferred) or equivalent experience combined with education and/or certifications.Familiar with iron work, plasma cutting, pipe threading and grinders.Background check, physical, and drug test is required.DXPEAdditional Information:Physical Demand: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lb. with assistance. Ability to work in various industrial environments, including extremes in hot and cold temperatures with continuous walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneeling. Must wear and use proper PPE at all times.
