Lee Company advertises most jobs by trade; your interest and experience will help us in matching you with the appropriate opportunity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)Depending on position may:Provide excellent customer service to customers; respond timely to HVAC dispatched calls (services)Perform construction, install, service, or maintenance on conventional systems at the customers'' home or facilityPerform non-refrigerant repairs as required; perform ductwork repairs, such as patching holes and reconnecting as requiredDiagnose problems in the refrigeration circuit; diagnose problems in the heating systemSize and install refrigerant piping; perform refrigeration recovery, evacuation, and chargingEducate and advise customers of system operation and properly explain needed repairs found (services)Install/maintain/repair a variety of systems to include air-cooled, water-cooled, hot water systems, chilled water systems, VAV systems, and steam heating systems (services)Troubleshoot repair/replace electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, capacity controls, semi-hermetic compressors, split systems, flame safeguard controls, air compressors, air driers, and packaged units (commercial applicants)Must be able to handle stress and job demandsMust be able to cooperatively work with othersOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious HVAC experience and/or training requiredEPA Certification requiredHVAC license preferred when required by state or localityValid driver''s license with a good driving record (services)Skills and Abilities:Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of the systemAble to troubleshoot and repair advanced piping systems, including copper, plastic, and carbon steelKnowledge of duct systems and air quality equipmentKnowledge of energy conservation practices/equipment as it relates to HVAC and air quality/filtering systemsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to ascend/descend ladders without aversion to heightsAble to work well with other technicians and trade professionalsPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:The physical activities described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals may be exposed to cramped workspaces, contaminants, extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field dividuals may occasionally be exposed to hazardous conditions, high places, and/or hazardous equipment. May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.Lee Company typically performs work locally and/or regionally.
