Our client is a well established market leader in the food manufacturing space and they are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team. This role is going to have high visibility to the finance team and work hand in hand with the leadership throughout the organization. The role will be a value add to the organization to help them align their costs to coincide with their profits. The opportunity for growth working directly under the CFO will be a value add for this position as they continue to progress in the organization with the potential to take on much larger roles down the road. Generous PTO Duties and Responsibilities: Collect cost information and maintain an expense database. Analyze cost accounting reports for discrepancies, make adjustments, and assist in overall inventory tracking. Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts. Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs. Support and Supervise new product quotations. Estimate product costs for existing and new products. Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs. Provide cost, profitability, and efficiency analysis. Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory. Assisting in month-end and year-end closing including account reconciliations, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Requirements: Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA a plus.. 3-4 years of cost accounting experience Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with a manufacturing company Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel). Experience with ERP systems. CFS2021
