Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse

**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND or EMSA** Requirements: CA License 2 years of pediatric hematology oncology experience Must have central line management exp APHON BLS PALS or Pears Preferred: Previous travel exp (First time travelers OK if strong skills) Previous exp with Childrens Oncology Group and St. Jude Treatment Protocols CPHON Certification Requested Time Off: Must work 2 of the 3 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) No more than 6 days can be submitted. Weekend Requirements: Include 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period. Weekends for dayshift are Saturday and Sunday and for nights are Friday and Saturday Contracts: 13-26 weeks depending on experience Ratio: 1:3 Unit Summary: Hematology Inpatient 38 beds. BMT/Blood Cell transplantation/neuroblastoma/anemia/leukemia/lymphoma/solid tumor/hemophilia/ITP/sickle cell anemia/other hemoglobanopathies. IV therapy/sedation procedures/post ops/ central lines/hickmans/porta caths/blood products/chemotherapeutic agents. Floating areas include: Medical, Surgical, Medical Behavorial Health, NICU (Feeders and Growers only) Shift Info: Day (12 Hours) 7:00 19:00
