Description: COMHAR is a non-profit community mental health center located in the heart of Philadelphia''s North Philadelphia, Kensington, and Port Richmond neighborhoods. The agency has a variety of services including a Clubhouse, 5 Community Integrated Recovery programs, LGBTQIA specialized services, Intellectual Disability services, Children''s services, Enhanced Services with a thriving DBT program and MAT program, as well as a large Clozaril Clinic. Clinical services are expanding, and we need a full-time psychiatrist to join our team. What you need to know: Our renowned Latino Treatment Program is expanding substance use services including MAT. Services are now 100% telehealth but will be likely hybrid later in 2021. COMHAR offers excellent salary, benefits, vacation, and CME funds. COMHAR''s current medical staff includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, partnerships with local Psychiatry Residency programs, as well as UPENN Community Psychiatry fellows for 2021-22. . Requirements: Doctorate in medicine or osteopathy from an accredited school Current, valid PA medical license along with current valid D.E.A. certification Currently in ''good-standing'' enrollment with PA Medical Assistance Program. Completed psychiatry residency program in both A.C.G.M.E. and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc with diplomate in general psychiatry in child and adolescent psychiatry Board Certified preferred but not required Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus ***Effective October 15, 2021, all employees/contractors/interns/volunteers are required to provide our office with proof of COVID vaccination.
