VP of Finance

CFS has been retained by an exciting and rapidly growing food technology company to identify a VP of Finance. Our client''s proprietary technology is disrupting the food industry by revolutionizing the way people prepare and experience their food. The company is expanding their operations and are forecasted to nearly double in size and revenue over the next year! This position is primarily responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for all financial affairs of the company; including accounting, analysis and forecasting, compliance, auditing, risk management, insurance, and taxes. As the VP of Finance, you will direct the organization''s financial planning and accounting practices, including:• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and preparation of financial statements • Generate financial reports and information for the ELT & SLT. • Manage annual budget process and reconcile budget variances monthly. • Monitor and analyzes monthly operating results against budget. • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting. • Serve as liaison with banks and manage lines of credit • • Responsible for product costing.• Provide financial statement reporting and analysis and assist President with cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including variances. • Manage account payable, receivable, budgeting, planning financial reporting, general ledger, and fixed assets. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of accounting, finance, and related management experience (in manufacturing - cost accounting/inventory experience required). Food production/manufacturing experience is a plus. The ability to thrive and lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is HIGHLY desirable! The position is located in Riverside and is currently remote through Fall. Our client is willing to offer flexibility in relation to hybrid in-office/remote work.
