Accountant

We are looking for a NetSuite Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. About the Company: Largest foodservice trade association in the world Represent and advocate on behalf of more than 500,000 restaurant businesses Mission is to serve members by advancing and protecting America''s restaurant and foodservice industry Based out of Washington D.C with locations all over the country Responsibilities: Resolving revenue recognition issues that pop up on General ledger accounts Preparing journal entries and account recs related to the variances ASC606 Partnering with ERP Success team and resolving issues Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements Create new processes to improve financial efficiency Report analysis and findings to management team &8203;Qualifications: NetSuite software experience- MUST CPA- highly preferred Previous experience in accounting or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools Detail and deadline-oriented Strong analytical and problem solving skills
