Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.Role PurposeProvides a variety of multi-skilled direct patient care procedures, assistance and comfort measures under the direction and supervision of a registered healthcare professional.ResponsibilitiesPerforms and assists client with activities of daily living.Collects various clinical data on clients, such as vital signs, temperature, and respiration.Assists client and caregiver in using medical equipment.Notifies professional nurse or nurse supervisor of deviations which could be found detrimental to the health and safety of the client.Appropriately reports changes and documents pertinent information and care rendered to patients to ensure continuity of careBJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
