Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to: Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Drives Culture of Safety within the organization focused on supporting the financial, quality and cross business performance through identification and investigation of risk-related business operations. Directs investigation and resolution of potential or actual hospital or professional liability claims including the performance of medical record reviews and staff interviews. Serves as a coordinator for resolution of general liability, property or theft claims. Demonstrates proficiency and executes Lean methodology, tools and philosophy for the benefit of patients, staff, and the organization.
