We Are Hiring: Our Level II Trauma Center and Magnet-Recognized Hospital has created an exciting and NEW opportunity for the right candidate!AMITA Health Hinsdale Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept Nurse / RN Educator to provide and teach nursing professional development skills and techniques pertaining to Emergency Services.Bring your BSN and experience to this exciting role and work with a dynamic team! Schedule: Mon-Fri-varied shifts but predominantly day hours. What You Will Do: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.Educator specializing in Childbirth credentialed from the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association preferred.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program strongly preferred; MSN preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of Emergency Nursing experience strongly preferred.
