Schedule: Mon-Fri-varied shifts but predominantly day hours. What You Will Do: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.Educator specializing in Childbirth credentialed from the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association preferred.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program strongly preferred; MSN preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of Emergency Nursing experience strongly preferred.
