Job Description This is a full-time, remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. We need passionate Data or Software Engineers who are looking for challenges in developing complex enterprise level analytics solutions. Our ideal candidate is a talented individual who is a compulsive problem solver and who knows how to align business strategy with software development best practices. Specifically, this position will work with the business owner, data scientists and report developers to deliver comprehensive data analytics solutions. Work as part of a Scrum team to deliver technology solutions in an Agile fashion including but not limited to sprint planning, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives Work with users to understand, define, and develop product requirements; providing development estimates as needed Full life cycle development including analysis, design, development, testing and documentation including version control practices and technologies Responsible for implementing new data extracts, transformations, and load routines. Perform, and lead others in hands-on coding of data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) according to BI/DW Industry best-practices. Develop data pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combinations of ANSI SQL, JavaScript and Snowflakes SnowSQL Design and build efficient SQL queries, analyzes query time comparison, and uses indexes efficiently Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues, and work to ensure data consistency and integrity Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 5-8+ years of experience in enterprise software development and database technology Strong knowledge of MSSQL and related technologies (e.g. SSIS, Transact-SQL) Experience working in Cloud and Snowflake data platform a plus 2+ years working with JavaScript, C and Python Solid understanding of dimensional and relational database design and development Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical and technical colleagues Ability to understand and articulate end to end details of your work and projects, along with reasoning/business decision/logic of technologies you''ve worked with Benefits We''re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self.
