Test Automation Engineer - Contractor

Assist the QA lead through the technical design, build, implementation and operationalizing complex technical solutions. You will need to ask better questions to truly understand our client''s "why" and develop better answers by drawing on your experience in consulting and technologyCreate and articulate innovative solutions that add value to our clients and differentiate EYDevelop relationships and communicate effectively with client peers and executivesProvide technical guidance and expertise to team members and colleaguesAssist and troubleshoot issues that may arise in the existing Test Automation FrameworkMake recommendations to the Quality Assurance Lead to assist in the improvement of processes and practicesReview daily test results from nightly automation run to ensure that any bugs are raised from failed testsAbility to quickly understand the application under test and the existing test automation frameworkAt least 3 years of relevant work experience in automated web application testingTechnical experience with all aspects of the software lifecycle including design, architecture, development and testingExperience automating tests for React and/or Angular web applications Strong working knowledge of Java, JavaScript and OOP conceptsAt least 2 years of experience building or working with one of these JavaScript-based test frameworks like: Codecept.js, Cypress, Playwright.js, Mocha, Nightwatch.js Experience and familiarity with java testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, TestNGAt least 1 years of experience in consulting managing client relationshipsAt least 2 years of experience with at least 3 of these concepts:Design, implementation and usage of complex test automation frameworksData querying (Example: SQL)CICD implementations and tools (example: Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab)
