Conducts bedside shift reporting; point of care charting; demonstrates flexibility. Knowledge of computer systems, basic keyboarding skills and able to perform computer related tasks. This position works for Hospice of Cincinnati West Inpatient Care Center. Must be willing to float where needed within HOC, including the 4 inpatient care centers (Anderson, Blue Ash, Hamilton, & West), Crisis Care, Home Care/Long Term Care team.STNA HOSPICE OF CINCINNATI: The primary role of the STNA is to provide direct patient care to Hospice of Cincinnati patients under the direction of a registered nurse. The STNA will assist with, and/or perform, basic activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, assistance with ambulation, etc., and the STNA will serve as a provider of companionship and emotional support, even during times of crisis. The position is responsible for knowing safety policies and following approved procedures.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: 2 years High School Education General Studies Age 17 with work permit.Successful completion of Home Health Aide competency skills checklist as required by Medicare regulations Basic Life Support (BLS) STNA Certification OR Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training upon hire (STNA required within 4 months)EXPERIENCE: None new grads welcome!
